Bio:

Graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland in 2002 with a BSc degree in zoology. First degree project involved studies on reintroduction of endangered mammals programmes around the world. Following this I was involved in reintroduction programme of fat dormouse (Glis glis) in Sierakow Landscape Park, Poland. Master thesis was based on this project and summarized spatial aspects of animals in new environment. During Master studies I took part in wolf survey project in Roztocze National Park, Poland. In 2003 I spent one semester at the Universidad da Coruna, La Coruna, Spain, participating in EU "Socrates/Erasmus" students exchange programme. Currently I am based at the National Centre for Zoonoses undertaking my Ph.D. studying spatial aspects of cowpox in wild rodent populations using Remote Sensing and field data.
